Dr. Lucas is the founder of TheDentistDad.com, and speaks at dental conventions across the country teaching other dentists his practical, alternative, prevention advice. He is the author of More Chocolate, No Cavities, and over 500 dentists across the country are using the Tooth Snack Guide he created.
Dr. Goldberg likes to go by “Dr. Kate.” Drawn to pediatric dentistry by the opportunity to positively impact a child’s oral health and confidence, Dr. Kate has her Masters in Public Health (MPH) and Masters of Science in Dentistry (MSD) from the University of Washington School of Dentistry in affiliation with Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Lucas has written a great book that you're going to love! More Chocolate, No Cavities: How Diet Can Keep Your Kid Cavity Free outlines strategies that will make simple cavity-prevention practices easier for you and your child and avoid “surprise” cavities that have previously been blamed on genetics or weak enamel. As you will learn, starting the correct habits when your child is a toddler will set them up for a healthy mouth their entire lives. Dr. Lucas has already taught thousands of patients and hundreds of dentists this new diet-based approach to cavity prevention, and loves to see these practices improving dental health in children everywhere. He's helping change how everyone thinks about cavities for the better!
